My Life Story

Lindsey Webster (born January 19, 1988) is an American jazz, R&B, and pop singer known for her warm, soulful vocals and contemporary crossover style. Raised in Woodstock, New York, she began her musical journey playing the cello before discovering her passion for singing. She later trained at the renowned Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City.

Webster independently released her debut album in 2013, quickly capturing attention in the smooth jazz and adult contemporary scenes. Her breakout came in 2016 when her single “Fool Me Once” reached #1 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz chart—making her the first vocalist since Sade’s “Soldier of Love” in 2010 to top a format dominated by instrumental music.

Since then, Webster has earned multiple Top 5 hits, including “Where Do You Want To Go,” “Back To Your Heart,” “Open Up,” “Next To Me,” and “Love Inside.” Her music blends emotional storytelling with soulful melodies, earning her a dedicated fan base and continued recognition in the jazz and R&B worlds.
