Jeanette Harris is a California-born saxophonist, composer, and performer whose smooth blend of jazz, R&B, and soul has captivated audiences worldwide. Raised in Fresno by musically gifted parents, she began her musical journey at age five and discovered her love for the saxophone after hearing Grover Washington Jr.
A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Jeanette quickly built a following with her self-produced albums, including Reflections, Smooth Holiday Greetings, and Saxified. Her sound reflects the influence of icons like Richard Elliot, Stevie Wonder, and Norman Brown—the latter later collaborating with her on the title track of Saxified.
Jeanette has performed at major festivals in the U.S., Japan, and the U.K., sharing the stage with artists such as Kirk Whalum, Najee, The Rippingtons, Babyface, and KEM. Known for her energetic stage presence and soulful expression, Jeanette Harris continues to shine as one of contemporary jazz’s most inspiring female saxophonists.
